During our previous visit to Aude, last month, we decided to look for another property. We saw a number of properties in the region but even we were surprised at the valuations put on them. For example, there was a large derilect house available for £60k, however, it was right next to a busy road and was clearly prone to flooding.
So, we started looking in the North of France, primarily because it would be easier to access from the UK. Eventually, we found this longhouse in a small hamlet outside Domjean. We had a first viewing and made an offer.
